Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actor and writer whose talents have earned an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She is one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Her father was an professional and moved her family a lot. It was a struggle to make or keeping her friendships. Moore was able to start acting in plays as she travelled with her family to Germany. She furthered her education at Boston University, graduating in 1983 with an B.F.A. A thesis on Theater. After graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first on-screen appearance. The episode aired in 1986. she portrayed the two characters of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). This became her biggest breakthrough. The show aired up to 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990, she made her debut on the screen in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) were among her films. She received several nominations and acclaim for the first film. Moore was offered her first leading role on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg gave Moore her first lead role in the film Safe (1995). It was 1997 when her career as this actress reached a pivotal point. She was tapped to star as Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films in 1997. The actress received an SAG nomination in 1999 for the role she performed in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Other films she has acted in comprise The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), etc. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore is a veteran of many television shows and movies. Most recently, she was in leading roles is in 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. In Hollywood She has also established herself as a writer for children. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became an N.Y.T. The book was a huge best seller, and was later made into a TV series along with a musical. In 2013, Moore published My Mother is a Stranger. Moore being a popular author and performer she has also made her private life known to the world. She was married to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. She has two kids and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's work, friends and family are the most important aspects of her life.
